Processional

Opening Prayer
Welcome everyone to the marriage of Bride's Full Name and Groom's Full Name. Let us bless this joyous union with prayer. Please join me in The Lord's Prayer...
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen.

Expression of Intent
{At this time, Bride and Groom will make public their intention to marry...}

Groom and Bride, please turn and face one another, and join hands as you pledge your love and devotion to each other as husband and wife.

Groom, will you have this woman to be your wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, and, forsaking all others, keep you only unto her, so long as you both shall live?

Groom: I will!

Bride, will you have this man to be your wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, and, forsaking all others, keep you only unto him, so long as you both shall live?

Bride: I will!

Blessing of the Rings
Bless, O Lord, the giving of these rings, that they who wear them may live in your peace, and continue in your favor all the days of their life. Amen.

Vows and Exchange of the Rings
{And now, Bride and Groom will recite their vows and will exchange their wedding rings...}

Groom, please repeat after me:

I Groom, in the name of God, and in the presence of our family and friends, choose you Bride, to be my beloved wife. I am blessed to receive your love. I promise to cherish you, to honor you, to love and respect you. I will be kind and honest, fair and true. May God always keep us and watch over our love and our home.
With this ring, I thee wed.

Bride, please repeat after me:

I Groom, in the name of God, and in the presence of our family and friends, choose you Bride, to be my beloved wife. I am blessed to receive your love. I promise to cherish you, to honor you, to love and respect you. I will be kind and honest, fair and true. May God always keep us and watch over our love and our home.
With this ring, I thee wed.

Blessing
Dear God, bless Bride and Groom that they may hold steadfast to the love between them. May their home be a sanctuary of peace, a source of radiance going out from one to the other. May they remain in that love and peace. May the power of life that is your gift to us, and the abundance of it, ever and always touch their lives. Even as they have chosen each other from the world's multitudes, may the days and the years, now veiled by this moment, deepen the wisdom of their choice and enlarge the storehouse of love that is theirs. Look graciously upon them that they may honor and cherish each other always. May their lives be blessed with joy and peace, and may their days be good and long upon this earth. Amen.

Pronouncement of Marriage
{At this time we come to the Pronouncement of Marriage. The Pronouncement is my public, and legal, proclamation that Bride and Groom are married. It is the exact moment of Marriage...}

Having chosen each other in love and in freedom, and having declared your purpose before God and this gathering, and having made your pledges to one another, by the power vested in me by God and the State of New Hampshire, I now declare you husband and wife. Let all others honor them and the threshold of their house and may this moment begin years of love and joy.

Permission to Kiss
Now seal your love and these vows with a kiss!
