Here are some great wedding venues in the town:
•
Strikers East Bowling Center - The function room at the center holds about 175 people and has a small dance floor. I have bowled here in the past, but I never knew about the function room until I served as JP there for an August wedding. As an aside, my friend Joe, the owner of Pizza By George (one of my favorite pizza places ever), was playing the music for that event!
•
Tuckaway Tavern - They provide a nice cozy wedding spot in their Barn Room that seats about 65. The Tavern is usually pretty busy, but this room provides a good amount of privacy.
•
Walnut Hill Conference Center - This is a nice venue for a small wedding of up to 70 or so people. There is a room for the ceremony, a separate room for the reception, and a kitchen area that can be used to prepare food if you wish. It's a rustic building in a quiet, forested area of Raymond. You'll be responsible for all of the ceremony and reception coordinating, as I don't believe there is any kind of wedding coordinator. The rental rates are reasonable.
