Additional Beloved Wedding Venues

There are some venues in towns outside of my typical travel areas that hold a special place in my heart. Each of the places below fit that description and, for that reason, continue to be on my list of locations where I perform wedding ceremonies as a Justice of the Peace and Minister. In order to make up for the extra travel time and/or distance involved, all of them have an additional $15 fee that, should you choose me to be your officiant, will be added to the total cost of the ceremony. I hope you'll consider my JP/Ministerial services for your wedding ceremony at one of these quality venues!

Venues in Andover and North Andover, Massachusetts

Andover Country Club, Andover, MA - I was late to the party coming here in my career, as I think I only started performing ceremonies there in 2018. Since then though, I have been back many times, and I love doing weddings here. The Country Club has been around for years and is an amazing place. I did the honors as JP for my first wedding here in the garden on a beautiful, dry, sunny afternoon in July. The venue personnel are very pleasant and accommodating. The venue has three large rooms that can accommodate 170 to 300 guests, and a few smaller rooms that I can imagine might be good for a small, intimate wedding. Pics: Andover Country Club

Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens, North Andover, MA - Beautiful, historic spot for a ceremony with a small guest list. Officiated a wedding here in October in one of the summer gardens and it was just gorgeous! The staircase you see in the following photo is the one the bride descended, and the couple was married at the foot of the stairs. I didn't see any wedding coordination going on so I think if you rent this place you're pretty much on your own. Update: Not sure if this place is still being rented out for weddings as the website no longer mentions that as a possibility - call to inquire. Some Pics: Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens

The Chateau, Andover, MA - The Chateau has been here for years. Whenever I want a good Italian meal I always think of The Chateau. Had the honor of being JP for a ceremony for friends here a few years ago and have been back many times since. The service and as I had mentioned previously, the food, is great! Pics: The Chateau

Venues in Bedford and Manchester, New Hampshire

Bedford Village Inn, Bedford, NH - I have officiated a wedding here every year or two for forever. Beautiful place. Update: The Inn now has a new, special venue for weddings called The Grand. The Grand has two indoor wedding sites (one an intimate room seating a max of 80 guests, and a great hall for seating 80+ guests) and one outdoor site. Here are a few pictures... Bedford Village Inn

Puritan Backroom Restaurant, Manchester, NH - This is one of my favorite places to eat in Manchester! I've performed many small wedding ceremonies here, but they can host up to 180 guests. Always nice. Some Pics: Puritan Backroom Restaurant

Venues in Chichester, Dover, and Rochester, New Hampshire

Dell-Lea Weddings & Events, Chichester, NH - Have served as Justice of the Peace for quite a few ceremonies here going way back through the years. This place is a combination of rural, rustic, and historic. And, it is beautiful! If you're looking for a private location in the country to have a wedding, this is it. Even though it is a haul travel-wise for me, it's special enough that I wanted to include it here. Images: Dell-Lea Weddings & Events

Rivermill at Dover Landing, Dover, NH - This is a great venue for a wedding and reception - my couples are always thrilled with the place. The staff are very nice and extremely accommodating. They believe, like I do, that this is your wedding and you should have what you want. Toward that end, they listen to you and they bend over backward to help you out. I highly recommend Rivermill. Governor's Inn & Restaurant, Rochester, NH - Just presided as JP for a ceremony recently at the Inn after not having performed one here in years. Still a great place for a wedding! There is a charming, historic character to the place. They have up to 10 different rooms/locations of varying sizes (max capacity is 200 guests) to hold your ceremony. These include an outdoor garden area and courtyard. You really can't go wrong here. I've included it on this page because it is the site of one of my earliest weddings. In fact, I was still DJing at the time, so that puts us at around 2000 - 2002! Some Pics: Governor's Inn & Restaurant

Venues in Cape Neddick & South Berwick, Maine

Cliff House, York, Maine - Officiated a winter wedding here many years ago. It's a stunning place. Just recently, I had a chance to do a summer ceremony on the rocks by the resort, and it was beautiful! The spot the couple chose was just large enough to fit them, me, and three guests. Checking the surroundings out, I could see that a large wedding on the rocks would be next to impossible, but for an elopement or a small wedding, it is ideal. The views were breathtaking - there really is nothing like a ceremony by the sea! The only caveat... the walk to the rocks involves a lot of stairs. Going down isn't bad but, if you're not in shape, plan on taking your time going back up! Pics: Cliff House

Hamilton House, South Berwick, Maine - Also known as the Jonathan Hamilton House, this is a fantastic venue for a wedding ceremony. From what I could see, there are a couple of possibilities for a ceremony site - where I performed my ceremony, at the front yard of the house overlooking the Salmon Falls River, and in the garden area. There may be other places also but, as I mentioned, in general, you can't go wrong with this place. I was impressed right from the start by the assistance I received parking my car when I first arrived. There were knowledgeable guides there to help with parking and to answer any questions you might have about the venue or the wedding. And, per my previous comments, it is a gorgeous site. If you're looking for history and a pretty place for your wedding, check this venue out. Some pics: Hamilton House

So there you have it - some of my additional beloved places to jp weddings!
